College Mall and Eastland Plaza sit just up the road on the east side — a full run of retail, groceries, and restaurants without heading downtown.
Hyde Park connects into Bloomington's shared-use trail network, including Olcott Park and Rogers Family Park system a short walk or bike ride away.
The east-side YMCA is close and offers specialty classes like hydrorowing and TRX. There is also an Orange Thery, Anytime Fitness, Club Pilates and hot yoga studio near Hyde Park.
Full sidewalks on most streets, marked bike lanes nearby, and Bloomington Transit service connecting east-side neighborhoods to downtown and IU. Being a campus city, there are also plenty of Uber and Lyft options as well.
